Hey, I had similar issues with you. I know it's been a while since you posted this article but I just wanted to leave some comments. The only thing bothers me is that the issue you are having and mad at is not the one that I get mad at.

I do have the not-waking up problem but I thought it happens to everyone because computers are not perfect and these things get hot easily. I've been having problem with hardware issues.

My MacBook Pro does not wake up because my hard drive failed or logic board failed. I just had my 3rd hard drive replacement and I had my logic board replaced right after last year's thanks giving. My first hard drive replacement was 3 weeks after my purchase. Should I be pissed about this issue that I have been having?

Do you possibly have an airport card that is disabled? Try if enabling airport helps - it did for me on my Macbook Pro.

dude, i'm not having the Issues you are but I have had poor service from Apple geniuses recently. I had to fight (not literally) with them to get them to swap out my iPhone. It never used to be that way. It used to be "How can we help", it's now "Prove it to us or go away". Good luck man

I am having the same issue on my Macbook Pro. I took it to a genius and it wouldn't happen in front of them and he could see nothing in my logs. I was fobbed off and told to go away and keep my eye on it. Good luck with your quest to get Apple to listen, after my experience I think you will be lucky.
